2008 FL7 was discovered by A. Boattini from Mt. Lemmon Survey (G96) at 10:39 UT on 2008 March 31 which observed it at March 31.44-31.39 and April 1.44-1.46 as published in Minor Planet Electronic Circular (MPEC) 2008-G06
Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) NEO Program Sentry Impact Risk page classified this object as Virtual Impactor with an estimated diameter of about 43 m.
